I have been away from this site for sometime and today I decided to take a look and see what was going on with all of you. It took me sometime to find the site as I think I am a little slow with the computer. Hope all of you, your sailors and families are doing well. We talked with Daniel last night and he is still in Pensacola hoping for his orders this week and a chance to come home for a few days. We have talked to him a lot but have not seen him since our trip to Pensacola at the end of April. I still miss being able to talk to him face to face and give him lots of hugs. I knew that I would miss him so much but nothing has been as tough as Boot Camp. If he doesn't get orders soon I think we will make another trip to Pensacola soon. Daniel was Ship 13 Div 160 during Boot Camp so I would love to hear from any of you that had a son or daughter in this Div. I met some of his shipmates on our trip to Pensacola and I can tell you they are fine young men and women. I know that you are all so proud of them and we all should be. Take care and I look forward to reading your posts. God Bless.

Wow ShortBecky. Your son is lucky. My boyfriend was supposed to come home for the weekend but they wouldn't let him leave because he had duty Monday. Now they're saying he can't come home for the 4th of July :( But I am going out to GL in 11 days to go see him for a weekend :)

My son had weekend leave also but had to be back for duty early Monday. I think he was glad to get a whole weekend off.

Has everyone that ordered a DVD from PIR received it yet?
I still haven't and it will be 6 weeks today.

We are wating the dvd this weekend as a family, so the kids can see what they missed. My son is having a great time at school in GL and loving the weekends off when he can go play at the 6 flags :)

My mom got the DVD but I haven't seen it. We are supposed to get together this weekend so the entire family can watch it at the same time. I hope it's worth the wait.
My nephew is in Goose Creek, SC and we are hoping to see him sometime in August after A school.

How was your DVD sent? Will we get it by USPS or some other mail courier? I've been wondering when we would get our DVD.
