We rreceived a call this evening as well. He sounded great, incredibly upbeat and is enjoying the experience. BC is a positive experience for recruits that actually want to be there. He said his div is G&G, but his A school is in GL so hopefully we will get to spend time with him over PIR weekend. He is a " bodysnatcher" for PIR ceremony. Interesting???

I got a letter today also.He said his first PT went fine and he has passed all his inspections so far. He said it was a litrle boring at first but is getting better. His rack is right next to Sacha's husband. (Thanks N4M so they can get to know each other. i wrote him and told him I had met the wife of a guy in his dividion and asked if he had met him. he said that;s crazy his rack is next to mine.) Jeremy said I would be proud of how well he can fold clothes, iron and shine his shoes. Then this afternoon I gat a Phone Call! it was wonderful to hear his voice. He sounded pretty upbeat.

WOOOO HOOOO!!! I got a phone call today at around 3:30 (CA time)! He is doing well and he passed tests. He is grad and go he gets all the info on that tomorrow he said he would write me the details. He says that they pretty much keep him busy. He was a little home sick the first week, but he says that he is fine now and not to worry about him. He sounded up beat and just soooo happy. AND! I DIDN'T CRY! I told him how proud I was of him. oh, they receive letters everyday, but they can only write on Sundays.

If everyone will email me the info I will put together a spread sheet for our PIR group.

I finally got a letter today! He did mention that they were ONLY able to write on Sunday and his letter was short. He said they were up between 4am and 6am and lights out at 10pm and very little time to write, so that is why letters are slow in coming. He asked for prayer and said he missed me, so that got me to crying ... gosh, this is hard!

I got the first call today. It was so great to hear his voice. And he sounded much better than he did in his first letter. Hope everyone else gets there calls today!

I got my second letter today too! I feel for everyone who hasn't gotten one. Joe says he is the "A-Roc" which is the person who yells out the cadence and marches in front. If nothing changes, we should be able to pick hiim out at PIR. He sounded so much better than the first letter. Says everything is "turning around". He said he has to iron, which I find hilarious!! Now for the phone call...

Still no letter! I am really having a hard time being patient. I would think if he wrote on Sunday I should have a letter today. I guess I have to wait another day. I am happy for those of you who did get mail, thanks for sharing.

Go check you mailboxes everyone, got my 2nd letter today which was a surprise. I wasn't expecting one until tomorrow. Now the wait for the three week phone call. His letter was short but sweet. The biggest news was he has already been promoted to an E2. He passed both tests and will now have two stripes versus none on his uniform. Have a blessed day everyone!

Still no letter. I guess I will just have to be more patient. I know they are very busy and from the letter below they have a lot of work to do. I will keep praying and one day soon there will be a letter in my mailbox and I will be so relieved just to hear in his own words how things are going. Take care and may God continue to bless each of you.
