I just got off the phone with the PAO and division 158 is "Grad and Go" so they will be leaving on Saturday, April 17th. That makes me sad but am grateful for the time we will have with our son.

You girls check out Navy graduation videos on YouTube and that will make you cry for sure, especially after looking at the Boot Camp (Part 1 and 2). Everyone looked casually dressed for graduation.

I was wondering how soon we might be able to find out if our children will be "grad & go" so we can make plans for our travel, does anyone know how to find out this information ahead of time?

Ok...the people with School across the street....My nephew did...but there was not room for him yet so he didnt have to move. But some did...and its just a few hsr or so to get things sent over. THe grad and go's will be going off out of state.
So my nephew had liberty the same as all of them. Still on boot side...some still had to do watch too....so that will cut into some time...
Keep your fingers crossed that they get ALL the flags...if so they will get more liberty.
I didnt go tho the Ramada meet and greet...but will go this time..
My sister didnt do much on connecting on here...and I think it will be fun to put names and faces together...and celebrate our childen, wifes or husbands!!...

Becky, as fas as I know, about an hour after graduation your son with have to check in with someone, and then move all of his stuff to his new place, could take up to 5 hours. Then they could have liberty but might still have to check in by 9pm everynight and might have to stand watch at some point.
