What color are the scarves? And I thought I read somewhere on where to purchase.....I'm not really a scarf kinda person...but if there's a cute one out there....I would!

Is anyone here going to the meet & great at the Ramada on the 21st?  I'm actually staying there that night...I saw some mom's from other divisions RSVP....wanted to know if anyone from here is going.

Hope all is well!  Can't believe the count down clock says 24 days!

PS ** Anyone worried about BS21?  Looks like our SR's will be in the last groups to go through it....I'm hoping it will be on that Monday and get the call on Tuesday.  I'm flying out to Chicago on Wednesday morning!  Now i'm freaking out what if there is an issue and I'm already on a plane! Uggggghhhhhh!

I just purchased my scarf! YEA!  Count down is on...my daughter is busy trying to write everyone that has sent her something it seems...because my letters have stopped or they are one small page....and I am getting emails and messages from friends saying they received a cute little note from Whitney! :)  Guess I can share her.......she said she is running out of room to put her letters, cards and pictures...filled up drawer A and B.  She said she is scared she is going to have to throw some away....but at least she can feel the love and LOVES receiving mail!  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend...the weather is going to be VERY nice here in Austin, Texas.

Hi Lonna,

You can send her a big manilla envelope so she can send them home for safekeeping. Just an idea,

Thank you for the idea!  I was reading that in other blogs.  I am just torn about how much postage to put on the manilla envelope. I guess if all else fails they can just charge me for any additional postage when i receive the package!  I don't want her to have to throw away letters...I know they will mean something to her later in life as well as they did while she was in bootcamp.  Thanks again...Have a great day!  16 days and counting!  I am starting to get really excited! :) Praying they all do well this week...she said part two of hell week...because hell week is really two weeks it seems! :)

My son is in this Division as well.  One other group is going to wear a certain color scarf or something to PIR.  We've gotten three letters and one phone call so far.....but we write to him every day..he says it keeps his spirits up.  He seems very happy and excited to be there since this week I think is firearms week :)

I received my scarf yesterday.  Very pretty! Can't wait until Friday, April 22nd!  I am VERY ready to see my daughter.

hey, My sr mom lost her form letter with the pasword to get the gatepass. Would we all have the same password to get the gate pass? Do you all have the same password?
I started a group on FB for our Divisions_  148 and 147.  if you want to join PM me our name or friend me Laina Bush Lindsey and I will add you to it.
This is the division my daughter is in as well. I just found this (obviously late to the game) and would love to send a friend request to the fb discussion. Thanks, Rebecca Skillern
Just heard from my daughter, Ship 03, Div 146.  She is a sailor.
