HI Ladies..joining your group today as my son will be with your sons/daughters tonight at BS. He was originally apart of 118 with PIR on 04/01 but he didnt pass his final PFA. He was sent to FIT to get his run together and finally passed today. Just talked to him and he said they placed in in 923 to run BS this evening.
He wont be apart of your PIR and will go straight to A school..Im just so happy he made it through. My blue candle is already lit and I look forward to seeing those "My new Sailor just called" posts tomorrow. Good luck ladies =)
congratulations. good luck to him tonight. we are hoping that 923 will be doing BS with our Division 147 and 148. We are waiting to see if 145, and 146 did it last night.
Hi Camyandrodsmom! I remember you from when your daughter went through bootcamp. And now your son is about to become a sailor! That is so great...so glad that he hung in there with that run and got it done...I know that call you received today from him probably just sent you soaring! I know he will do great in BStations with 923.
So here's congratulating you ahead of time on your 2nd new sailor!

I was sad about not going to PIR a few weeks ago but Im just glad he passed and will be moving on. I didn't get to go to my daughters A school grad but I will be there for my son just so that we can see him "graduate" since he didn't PIR.
Camy - I am so happy that he finally got the green light to make BS. My thoughts are with you just the same and where is Rod going to A school? My son is heading to San Antonio on Sat. for MA school. We will all be anxious to post tomorrow night. I am sorry you will not get to go to PIR but also know you are glad he is just getting it over.
Good Luck to Rod
