yipee, i got a letter today!!!! I was wondering what was going on with him. He sounds pretty good and said that the Div. has earned 2 flags. He said time was starting to fly by.I'm so excited to see him and get my bear hug he said he was going to give me. He also said that he earned 2 ribbons for sharpshooting, i did'nt even know he could shoot like that. He said he scored 222 out of 248, so i guess thats pretty good. Anyway I'm so proud of himand can't wait to see him. I hope that you all got a letter or get one soon. Lets hear if anyone else got a letter.
My daughter is in the same Div 166!!!! I can't wait to see her. Her name is Taylor.
I also got a letter from my daughter today (dated March 29th) - Yea!!! She's not very informative on how the division is doing - she probably thinks I wouldn't know what she was talking about! She liked the guns, got a ribbon and was 3 pts away from Expert - which made her mad. She told me they'd done "marlinspike"?? and that it was really fun - she can't wait to be on a REAL ship! :) She told me I could probably look it up on youtube, so I may research it a little bit.

She didn't mention anything about the 'gas chamber' and I'm really nervous for her and everyone else about that....

I told her I got on N4M to keep track of how the division was doing, so THANKS to all who post here!!!!!!!
Hey Ya'll has anybody heard when Div 166 does firefighting and battlestations. I did'nt know if firefighting was this week. I would think so and battlestations next week. If anyone knows please post it.....Thanks!!!!
My husband said they're doing battlestations the Sunday before PIR. So..April 18?
thank you so much for the info!!! how about the gas chamber..do you know?
My boyfriend Cameron is in DIV 166. :)
Welcome to 166 family. Hope to see you on the 23rd. My son Cody is in this div. as well.

Sabrina
Why thank you. :) His name is Cameron. My friend told me about the sight so I decided to check it out. It's cool to be able to talk to people who are going through the same things. :) I'll definitely be there on the 23rd. I can't wait. :D
we are soo close ladies, i'm so excited i can hardly contain myself !!!!! i'm ready to go NOW
I am so EXCITED! I received a letter last week (dated April 4th-Easter) He sounded pretty good. But the last call I received was before "hell week". Would LOVE to hear from him!!!! I will be there in 10 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY! Is anyone staying at the Navy Lodge??? Cheryl :)
Cheryl, it's Adam's mom here. Just received a disturbing phone call from my duaghter-in-law who, was in tears, as she had just opned a letter from Adam stating that Div. 166 may not be graduating on the 23rd. (He wrote that their CPO was making them write to their familiesand inform them) Have you received anything from Nick in the last day or two? Apparently their division isn't doing well and she said that the recruits were told that graduation for them will be delayed a couple of weeks.I'm just on pins and needles- has anyone out there heard anything about this?Barbara.
