Hi, Moe, My son Josh is in this ship and Div and going for communications, got my first letter out to him today after getting his address yesterday. I feel a little better having an address and his PIR date, I don't know I guess it connects me to him a little more than I was last week. Thanks for starting a discussion group for out div. it will be nice getting to talk to other moms of the same div.
WOOOHOO There are 2 of us LOLOL
WOW...just the 2 of us how quaint, I sent a note about you starting this to another mom that has a Josh also in the same div. maybe we can get a third...lol
hi lj1422 and moe!! now there are 3 of us.... my son josh is in the same ship and div and pir as both of you!! i have been better this week since i got the box and the form letter w/ josh's brief note....i hope both of you ladies are hanging in there...moe your son is going corpsman fleet?? what is that?? .........lj1422 what is your josh going for????.......my josh is abf firefighter/fuler.....have a nice nite ladies.......
My son is going for Corpsman and will then go Fleet marine Force, so he would be the "doc" with the marines. Wherever the marines go he will go with them and help provide medical care for them. He is hoping once he has a couple years with the marines to go to special forces or something.
no letter today for me :-(
Cheryl, my Josh is going for Advanced Technical Field Interior Communications. Not exactly sure what it is but he was excited about it. I have been doing much better the end of this week.
still no letter :-(
Sorry Moe:(
Anyone get a letter yet ?
i still don't have a letter either....sorry to hear no one else has either.....but i'm feeling a little helpless and sad....i'm sure josh had to have his wisdom teeth out, they where starting to bother him before he left and from what i've learned they do it in the first week or so...i wish i knew for sure and if so i could be there to help him feel better.........what a helpless feeling.!!! do you ladies have hotel reservations yet??? airline if you're flying??? i'm trying to figure it all now......yikes!!!
I will be bidding on priceline end of next week to reserve the hotel. Since there will be 5 of us we will be driving out there from NH.
Cheryl--from what I have read Josh should be nice and comfortable having his teeth out. However, it is so hard to feel these motherly emotions so far away{{{HUGS HUGS HUGS}}
