Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

When I talked to my Josh I also asked about Melchor not passing and he knew him also and said they would get him though this on Monday, they are all behind him and will push him.
Thank you for asking because I have worried so much, I have been so upset and I was not sure if he is ok! I know the last time I spoke with him he was feeling like a failure! I am glad he has great guys cheering him on! I feel better and I have to meet you all at the Greet, I am blessed to have great Moms and kids with my son! My son is quiet but he is a good kid. Thank you for the insight I do appreciate your Sons as well! Thank you and make sure to tell your sons I said I appreciate them all! :) Bless you alll!
Did you ladies find out for sure when they do battlestations? I am so anxious for the call I can't wait. Thinking it will be sometime mon-wed
my son said Tuesday they start BS expect call on the 21st! Good luck all
It sounds like they will do BS on Tuesday night and we will hear on Wed. It is not easy being the last one to go and hearing everyone elses good news first. We just have to hang in there ladies together!!!!

my husband will have his cell and my other son will have his, I sent Tony a letter with all the portable numbers he can call--I am just worried about service on the road etc...i just cannot wait to see him--I know we all feel the same way, too!
moe does he have your cell #??? what time do you get on the road??? maybe the call will come before you leave!!! i took the day off work to pack and be around the phone...we leave thur. morn @ 6:30am!! yikes!!! lol but i wont be far from the phone on wed....
we are leaving about 5 a.m. Wednesday morning--it is a long trip.

I will keep your son in my prayers. I would hate to see any of the boys not graduate. Im sure the guys in his div will help him to make it. My son Chris is 163. He is happy to be done. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and him. Joyce. In the begining Chris missed pushups by 1 to move up in rank and pay. He was very upset. He has since done the required amount but lost his chance for the rank and pay to change.
