Yay! Man now that we all got first letters....first CALLS come next!!! I saw some people who got letters last week getting calls this week...so hopefully ours will come in a few days!!

I'm doing alright, my son is teething and has been so crabby the past few days...and he keeps calling for his daddy and looking around the house for him.....only 34 more days until he can see him! It's so hard for my husband not being here with our son but I send a new picture every day and he said its what is getting him through!

How are you doing? Is Gino your only child?

I really hope the other ladies that have loved ones in 12/154 find their way back here!

My husband said he made a really good friend "J...." from Texas....I'm wondering if he has family on here?

My son's name is J and he is from Texas-with ship 3 div 149
Aww, yeah I can only imagine how hard it is for you, with him being the youngest and seeing him so often! My husband is closer to age with your oldest, he is 25! He is going for IC. He graduated college last year and was unable to find a job even with to bachelor degrees and a minor so he decided on the navy! We are from Ohio.
hello everyone...found my way back here...got my letter on Thursday.  I feel a whole lot better now.  My son also wrote to his brother, his sister, his friend and 2 letters to his girlfriend.  He was so happy that we had written so much to him.  I am so hoping for a call soon.
So glad to hear you got your letter!
Thank  you ladies for all the good wishes.  I agree with you Ginosmom...that I always want him to have mail at mail call.
Ginosmom:  I was a little worried about sending a letter or card everyday, as well as my other children and relatives writing, not to mention my son's girlfriend writing......but he loves it....and if he loves it...then I love it!
Goodnight ladies....I guess this is not a night for our phone calls.....but it will come....till then....good thoughts...and be well.

Ladies, I have already written to my husbands bunk mate who is getting no mail, and I was wondering if you would like to "exchange" SR's? I have been making encouraging cards and would love to make some for your sons also...just to you know, switch things up? Show our SRs that they have more people than just their family thinking of them!

If anyone is interested send me a message!

lol I'm sure that was a type, but "selp"?

I wouldn't want to post any names out here either, but I thought maybe a private email or message.

haha its ok. I completely understand! I accepted your friend request.
