Hey Navywifeandmom, My son is DIV 149. I've searched these groups all weekend for new postings and there haven't been too many. When I saw yours about Battlestations, I got excited. I have read that the DIV's have sister groups go with them. Do you think 150's will be 149? Make since but a lot of stuff hasn't so far. Thanks!!
NavyWifeandmom;
My SR said the 21st for battle stations- but maybe he ment when they would be done? I'm not sure now since yours said the 20th!
Has anyone else heard anything?
Do they go with their brother or sister division?
So many questions - LOL!!
Lets hope these next few wks go by quick!!
CMom, I think (but don't hold me to this!) he said they start on the 20th and finish on the 21st. From all the info I read, I believe they do go with their sister Div (149).
I'm like you, I have questions (but have to search for the answers). I have some insight since my husband is also in the Navy. One of the guys who works with him was a prior RDC at GL about a year or so ago. But by no means do I have all the answers! lol!! This forum has been wonderful in filling in the blanks for me!
I've been staying busy while my SR has been in BC. My SR and I challenged each other to get into better shape so that when we see each other on PIR day we would both be fit. He's always been on the slight side, I on the other hand gained weight after I quit smoking 3 years ago and then went into menopause. I am waiting until that last week of PIR before I go buy a new dress for graduation - I need those last couple of weeks to push myself into a smaller size. HooYah! :)
I got a letter today - did anyone else? I posted most of it on the main page.
Sounds like 150 is doing great!!!
Got a letter too.....he was concerned about his funds asking his sister who is handling things. Also wanted to know info about the "thing" Obama was supposed to sign and if he didn't sign was it gonna stop his money....
You gotta understand Ronnies mentality he is so laid back and whatever it is funny to think he even knows or cares now..
He wrote on the 7th and said he was having a call tomorrow? The 8th still no call?
I got a call tonight. She said they earned this one. She failed the physical test...again...but said she's just a minute or 2 off on the run. Stated gas chamber and firefighting was this week and she's looking forward to it. Enjoyed handling the guns, but not the shotgun as much.
I wonder how many sister divisions they have? My daughter said they were sister to 150, but I just read 149 is sister to 151? I'm beyond confused now...Maybe I misread her letter or perhaps there's a few divisions all sister to each other?
I'm wondering why my brother hasn't written me when it seems like everyone else got letters and/or phone calls. I hope it's not because he's getting in trouble.......
