I have been praying for your SR!! Also for the whole division!! Let me know if you hear anything!
I am just sure they will all pass!
I got a letter yesterday it was short and to the point!
"update from Fri and Sat; Friday - 2nd round of shots, wet to the NEX, and did Marching
Sat: Got the flu with a HIGH FEVER, Did B.A.S.E.S. (prep P.T. for Battle Stations)
This week coming up: PFA, P.I., GAS CHAMBER, FIRE FIGHTING, HOW TO REPAIR A SHIP
on top of that, we have home work that is about 3 hrs worth, (for our last exam) Chief says 15%
fail the exam and I'm NOT going to be in that statistic!!!"
I wrote him a letter back asking more about BS (again) I also wrote a letter to the division letting them
know we all support them!! I will leave it up to him if he shares it or not - I told him to use his judgement!! LOL
I just hope he is over being sick!! The high fever thing kind of freaked me out - this is a kid that is never sick!!!
So,..... I guess after today they will likely be done with all the above and the last thing will be Battle Stations!
Keep Praying everyone - for our guys - Prayer in numbers works wonders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Be sure to post any news of how they all did!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you SO MUCH for the prayers CMom!! I am REALLY worried about him passing this run! He also said he had been sick. My guess is it is from the last round of shots they were given - especially since they got them on Friday.
My SR also said the same as yours as far as their schedule for this week. On to Battlestations!!
Oh wow..we are on the home stretch ladies. We got a short letter yesterday now saying A school graduation is May 26th in Pensacola?Originally it was a month then went to 2 weeks now back to a month. He said he is gonna be stationed at Whidby Island in Washington State. He has he has to be there by June 6th.He never mentions the timing on any test? Only in the beginning he mentioned how long it took him to run the mile.I gotta look back I don't remember how long he said. He said he gets a call on Friday in a letter we got last week and we are thinking maybe he meant this Fri. I am gonna be sure to ask him if he is meeting his times.
I am on the hunt for yellow scarves.
Have a great day girls.
Has anyone heard anything from 150 lately?
Did anyone get a phone call? 149 got calls yesterday - I sure hope 150 gets calls today!!??
Keep praying for the division to do well on all their tests = individual as well as division.
Be sure to post in the group if you get a call or letter!! We are getting soooo close I can't stand it!!
I FINALLY got a letter from my brother today. It was postmarked 4/15, but I don't know when he wrote it. He wrote:
"So when I last talked to you our divisional score was 4.8 out of 5.0. Which was really good, however since then we have had some not so great scores on tests & inspections. We are still doing good to my knowledge, however we did get a 4.2 out of 5.0 on our last test. And our last inspection the avg was 4.5.
I have not gotten in any trouble at all. But my division fights a lot & we have not so good team work, it is getting better. But when shit needs to get done we get it done.
But anyways another thing I wanted to tell you about was the tear gas chamber! It f------g sucked balls LOL. Imagine taking pure onion juice pouring it in your nose, lungs & eyes and not being able to breathe along with intense burning of the skin on your face. That's all I have to report....Oh I also have my Final Physical Fitness test tomorrow which I should be fine at (I ran the last mile & a half in 10:47). Sooooo ya that's it, see you in 2 weeks."
Dont know if they have or not!?!?! Navywifeandmom and I both heard the final PFA test was to be "last week" but not sure as we have not heard anything!!! Just wondering if anyone else had?
Keep praying for the division - Prayer in numbers always does Wonders!!! I am praying the division finishes "STRONG" and EVERYONE passes their final tests!!!
Thought I would share where I got my scarf - I ordered it online Tuesday evening and got it on Saturday. It is lightweight but really nice - you can wear it as a wrap, or scarf, or whatever - good quality too!! (there is a light yellow and regular yellow I went with the regular as it seems to be the brightest!!)
