Hey Stephanie- sorry to hear that you've been 'under the weather'. Hope you feel better soon. As Ann said you must be getting better if only one person said you looked like hell. But I'm sure you look just fine! :>)
I am so excited that in about a week I will start my trip back to the States and then up to GL for the "BIG event". Like everyone else I am so excited about seeing my son and all the other new Sailors.
I am with you completely about the phone call. I was so worried about this move we just did because they told us it would take 2 weeks to get the dsl line hooked up and that is what we need to run the vonage phone line. But luckily, they came and hooked it up yesterday. So hopefully, I won't miss out on a phone call, if the guys get to make one. Fingers crossed.
Take care and i hope everyone has a great day.
Traci
:0) - it was my boss taht said that I looked like hell too!
I just didn't take extra care in my hair today. They are used to seeing me with every hair in place - even when it is out of place - it is on purpose!! :0) Today - I just went with the "wherever it lands is where it is staying" hair do. I guess it didn't go over well with the boss, but I wasn't seeing any customers today, so whatever!
I will cross my fingers with you. I want another call and you need to talk to your son period!
Hip Hip Hooray! Just found out that Lollipop is not going to PIR. My son's Uncle is going in her place. I am so happy about this.
Wow! 15 more days. Looking foward to some mail tomorrow!
Received a letter from my son today. YEA!!!!! He said that he passed all his PT test, sorry ladies, it is their running, pushups and sit ups, I think that is the initials? and they passed inspection and received another flag. So they now have 4 out of 6. This group of boys are doing GREAT!!! They are doing firefighting this week. Only 10 more days of training!! He stated how excited he was to see us and could hardly wait!! Made me cry!!! It just cant get here fast enough.
CONGRATS, Nursemom...Gee I couldnt tell that this made you HAPPY!! hahahaha
Hope I'm not to late to wish you Happy Birthday Sandra! What a great gift to hear from your son and with such a good message.
Hope you have/had a really super day!! I've sort of lost track of time while being lost in this sea of boxes that surround me!! :>)
Traci
Thank You Traci!!
It was the best gift he has given me.
Sounds like all positive letters are coming. Ann happy to hear that he passed the PFA. I am hoping that not getting a phone call from my Son means that he passed his PFA (the running portion). It is awesome that they have collected 4 out of 6 flags so far.
Sandra, sounds as if your son has been doing some reflection while he has been away. I think these boys have done some major growing up these past few weeks.
