Good Morning, I am starting this discussion for Div 124.  My son left on 2/8/2011, I am sure he will be in this PIR. Or I am almost sure.  I would like to chat with other mothers that have sons/daughters in this division. I look forward to your comments.

Hey there! Good afternoon. My son and his friend arrived in Great Lakes on 2/8/11 but they are in different divisions. My son is in a 900 division but his friend (and friend to the family) is in your group. :-)
I have been gone to Austin for two days and have been unable to post much. Maybe your sons friend knows my son. Im excited to find someone that I can talk with.
Hello, texasmom and SR Mom, looks like our sons are together.  I received my letter today. He too, is Ship 11, Div. 124,  PIR 4/8/11, It was wonderful just seeing his handwriting, even if it was just a little short note. Just to see the few words he wrote, especially, I love you, meant so much.
I find it hard to believe that there are no other sons or daughters in this division. I am starting to wonder if possibly I have the wrong division.  I still have not received my official letter from the Navy but, does anyone know if it might be possible for him just to be in this division with only two or there other people?
Unfortunately, texasmom, the majority of parents of SRs don't know about N4M.  So, the lack of activity is not unusual.  There will be 80-88 in his division with only a few moms knowing about this website.
Thank you so much ntz4laa, I was starting to think that people just didn't like me.  :) LOL I appriciate the insight. Have a wonderful day.
I am thinking that maybe if a Group was formed instead of a discussion more people will join.
Oh, ok I will see if I can figure that out.  i just didn't see the other PIR groups under groups, I thought that PIR groups were formed as discussions.  I am not very computer literate when it comes to these type of internet systems.  I was never good with facebook either. :)
Texasmom when I click on "Groups" I see a lot different ship/divisions there. I think "groups" are on a larger platform; so to speak than discussions. I work full time and in graduate school full time and I just can't handle doing this right now. Have you joined the PIR 4/8/11group? There has got to be more than us two! smile.
I just created Ship 11 Division 124 group
Thank you for creating the Ship 11 Division 124, I also work, I'm a Realtor and I spend many hours up here at work. but, I have access to my computer all day and can e-mail when I have time so I will try to help with talk with people.  Thank you so much glad to meet another mother.  I will send you a friend request.
Texasmom - my son is ship 11 div 123.  They are neighbors!
