Thank you so much my friend ((((((HUGS)))))))   You know, it's easier said than done, "Plan for the worst, expect the best". I never really expected to be so down about it, but it's almost like an "adrenaline vacuum". LOL I supposed it would like getting the winning lottery numbers for a million dollars, only to find out that there were 2000 other winners with the same numbers. "OOOOOOOOOHHHHH.......oh!" dang!  LOL  Yeah, maybe today...will I sound like a cynic if I say, "but probably not....."  :-)
My boyfriend told his mom on the phone yesterday that he had received a ton of my letters! But he hadn't by the time he got to send his.
Awww. That's wonderful news!  When my son wrote on the 27th, he'd received several letters from me. By the next day, he'd received another from me and 7 from his girlfriend. LOL  So yeah, they seem to build up or something, don't they?  I do know this, his heart was overjoyed that he wasn't away from us and forgotten. When he called, his heart was just bursting with joy and love and enthusiasm....we were on cloud 9...well, we still ARE!!  Wow....just one month left. Amazing!
YAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!  Okay, I'm done feeling sorry for myself now LOL  I got TWO letters, one of them was 4 full pages! LOL  Oh he is still so very much my boy. LOL He sounds a bit more grown up and is doing well, but he has come to the conclusion that he should have listened to me more on that clothes folding stuff LOL. Oh...yeah, he hates snow. LOL Lots of other things too, but he did have a question for me. Do any of you have a son with initials N.A.? He said that he and N.A. (he did tell me his name), have become really good friends. :-)  He said tons more..lots that made his sister and I laugh and cry...especially that he misses his little best friend (his nephew) so much...and that he's missing so many thing with him. :-(

My son's intitals are NA (Nic Andong)

Well  my dear bcordova....our sons are friends! LOL  That is just too darned cool!  Thanks so much for responding. Wow, did the world ever get smaller. My son is B.F.!

honest to god that makes me feel so good.  My SR is just a good kid....I am so glad that he has a friend and someone he can talk to and count on...which I'm sure they're all taught to do...but still...we are from so cal,,you?

I was thinking exactly the same thing!  I am so glad that our sons have each other. I am from Western WA....out on the coast (literally) LOL

I got my phone call this morning!  Oh my gosh, I thought the darn letters were a gift. He sounded so great!! Everything seems to be going pretty good.  He said the division is working better on most days than they had been. Battlestations will be the true test of how well they're working together. He chuckled at this....."Our RDC says we're the smartest group of dummies he's had in a long time...maybe ever!"   LOL  I hope you all get phone calls today!

I got a call this morning as well...my SR sounded great...more grown up is just 3 weeks. What a wonderful way to start the day....

I hope you all received calls as well...have a wonderful weekend =)  Oh and keep the letters coming..they look forward to them,

Got a call this morning too!  What a great week - letters and phone calls, LIFE'S GOOD!!!
Gosh, I feel like that phone call and the letters the day before, completely recharged my soul.  Ahhhhh, it's like I can breath again! LOL  I am beyond overjoyed that y'all heard from your guys too!  How about the rest of you?  Were you awake for your phone calls?
