It's great to hear about what everyone's sailors are doing now. My daughter is still in GL for A school (it's a long one) with an expected grad date of October 15th. We live about 3 hours away so we see her at least once or twice a month. She said she gets ribbed by the other sailors because she's from Illinois & hasn't even left the state yet! Personally I like having her this close. : )

I guess my squeak wheel got the grease. Not really, just a twist of fate that it came today. It's very cool to see what our kids went through in bootcamp. Thanks Melisse!

Waiting for the keel book is like waiting for Christmas when you are a child. Well maybe not that bad. Anyway, looking forward to receiving the book. Does anyone have the contact info for where we inquire?
My sailor is doing good. She too was on hold while they re-vamped the IT program. She will finish A school in November, be on hold till the end of December before starting C school in January which should run till May. I am looking forward to her getting her orders, hoping that she is stationed somewhere on the West Coast. SD would be nice.
Wade-best of luck on your continued recovery, and scan. Hope the deli is becoming yours. I will continue to keep you in my prayers in all 3 situations.

We still have not gotten my daughters either. I wonder if the change was worth all the wait? Maybe the problem is my postal carrier. She does not get out of her vechicle to ring the doorbell. She will only leave the note in the mailbox to have you pick it up at the post office. Why are stamps so expensive?
