Im so glad I found this site, No one else seems to understand how I feel about all of this. How I can be proud, happy and completely supportive of my son and sad at the same time. I honestly think you guys are the only ones that get it....

Dev's mom, my husband videoed the graduation. Might be a little shakey but will share with anymore who wants it. My daughter was the Rhode Island flag, so me may have also taken lots of pictures of your son also. Send me an email and once I get home I will be happy to forward what ever I can.
I think it was harder saying good by to my daughter this time then when she left the first time. She is so grown up now. Looking forward to her coming home after A school.

Finally got home, it always seems to take longer to get home!! It took a few minutes to find the site! I felt like you CootieBug hard to say good-bye. I think I teared up more saying good-bye then I did at graduation. I was so proud of all of our sailors. I loved seeing them all in uniform. Though I was sad that I didn't get to meet all of you at graduation. Time just went by so fast. But, we had a great time!! Rachael is hoping to call sometime Wed. depending on when her flight is. Hope everyone had a safe and uneventful trip home!!

Does anyone have a video of PIR 5/14/10 my son was supposed to graduate but was held back. He was preforming in the graduation holding the Kansas Flag. I really would like to see him if I can.

Glad I found you guys! It was soooo very hard leaving our son last night. A verrrrrry long ride home :( Felt like I was leaving him at kindergarden all over again. Thanks wade142- for the parking pass:)! I appreciated our talk in the hotel!

I'm here, I'm here too! It was great having Andrea home. She got to visit with a lot of her family and friends so that was wonderful. We had a houseful all weekend. Even though we had to drive her back to the base each night, she really enjoyed taking LONG showers at home for those three days. But I really underestimated how hard it would be to say goodbye to her last night. Very emotional especially saying goodbye to her brother who will be going to Army boot camp at the end of June. So, they don't know when they'll be able to see each other again. It was heart-wrenching! And Andrea was so sick all weekend with bronchitis and a sinus infection. The poor girl was worn out! I'm hoping that she'll fell better soon (now that BC is over) and I hope I'll have a chance to see her off Wednesday at O'Hare. I wished I had had a chance to connect with more of you at the graduation. I think that seeing our children kinds of put everything else out of mind! I hope you all had a great visit with your sailors and I know they'll all do great in "A" school!
