Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Hello my son enlisted into the navy on march 15.  I am from California and would like to keep in touch with other family members who belong to his Division or Graduate date.  I am new to this as a Navy Mom and group page....Thanks.

My son is  Ship12/164 also....I am from  Grand Island NY......near Niagara Falls...I will be at the graduation on May 6th....Flying in on the 5th...Staying at the Ramada..

Hello!  I am proud Navy grandma - grandson is 12/164.  I am in Northern California. I don't know how others feel about this, but I think we all need all the support we can give each other. Proud to be a member.
Yes..we are also flying in on the 5th.  We will be staying at the Comfort Inn.  I live in Madera, Ca....2 hours south of Sacramento....Are you aware of the scarf colors other mom's are wearing that day?

Yes.. I am aware of the scarf colors.. I think we are red.

Yeah!..I am glad to have someone that is with my son,..Ok ladies, let's start looking for our scarfs.

Has anyone received calls?..my son called on Monday..I wonder when will get another call..:(..

 

Last  call i received was tuesday April 5th....8 minutes....My son is section leader....what that means don't really know... but i think if somebody screws up... he gets the punishment....don't know......He is a nuke...He is 25  .   He said he would know if he was a grad and go by this past thurs....have not heard anything as of yet......Have a great day... 3 more weekends...
I got letter # 3 yesterday!!!  I look forward to Wednesday/Thursday's mail..because I hope I will find a letter from my son.  On one of my letter's I asked my son about the graduation video and he wrote back the   he doesn't know anything about it.   Does anyone know how to order the video?  Also, has anyone receive  any calls??   My last call was on tuesday April 5th..:(
My fiance is ship 12/div164 also. I live in California too.
