I've been to the IS A school site, but it is not active at all!  Only 3 girls are in Charity's class... it is a small class of 20.  :(  I don't know anyone whose sailor is at IS school.

I agree, PIR was amazing, I'm so glad we were able to attend...
Post PIRtum syndrome... me, too :( This site and all of you have been a life saver over the last couple of months.I have really enjoyed sharing with all of you and am so thankful to know I wasn't alone. I think I'll head over to NUKE MOMs group now, but will continue to check in here to see if you all decide to continue a group somewhere. I'd love to keep in touch even though our sailors are scattered now.

sheryl30,

thank you so much. You know what I'm feeling. I talked with J at the airport, said he was expecting you soon. I was hoping to see you there but we had to scoot, mainly to let Aron relax with the guys. Plus we had tickets to the Cubs game. I actually wanted to forego the game and hang with Aron but I'd only be bawling the whole time, he didn't need that. He was so relaxed with the headphones on, enjoying the last moments with the guys he's grown so close with. J is really nice, a gentleman too.

Is that what I'm feeling???  Post  PIRpartem!!!   It is 4:30 pm...and I just finally had some lunch.  I don't feel like doing anything!!  Thinking of my son and how I miss him and wish we would have had more time to spend with him.  We are so happy that we did get to see him and loved every minute!

J-Bird -It is Ok to feel what you are feeling!!  They will always be our babies!! Our sons, our daughters, our husbands our sailors!!  Just let it out...over time  each and everyone of us will get to another level of our lives with our Sailors. Right now, we need to just feel our emotions. I cherish this past weekend and PIR.  We are so blessed!!  My heart aches with loneliness and wondering about what happens next.    Our lives are constantly changing....I told my son after graduation that I had to find a new purpose in life.He hugged me and told me not to feel that way.  He will always be in my life.  His time at boot camp made him realize how important family is.

We must all find a way to stay in touch and share our stories and emotions!!  I don't what I would have done without N4M's.    What about facebook....maybe we could start a group there??

I just got an email from a family member about what I'm going through with my sailor now gone etc..the advice was "don't feel guilty if you don't always feel the loss of his presence" guilty??? and reminded me about how my sailors life is not at home but his own now and how I will really enjoy the rare times I see him. Needless to say, it made me feel WORSE! with a touch of grrrrrrrr to go along with it. This was way to harsh for me and my very raw and tender emotions right now. Perhaps down the road but not 2 days after we parted ways again, this time for even longer.

Any moms that have SR's in San Antonio with a rate of Master at Arms? What are your thoughts on starting a new discussion. I have looked at the one above "San Antonio A School" but no one really seems to be active there and is it me or does the most recent entry post on the last page???

@Jenn, I definitly understand. I feel the same way as well.
