DefianceMom:  EXCELLENT description of Captains Cup!  :-)

cyndaroo:  I was wondering about the lack of calls from 161/162 also...but if they go on Sunday, 809 currently scheduled for that night would be dropped back because they would have too many divisions!  So it will be interesting to see what happens.

Mom4Love - Welcome!  This is a great site full of great information and even greater people.  It can be a source of information, inspiration and even entertainment at times.  It can also be a source of support when most needed.

From what I understand, Captain's Cup is a friendly competition between the various divisions that share a common PIR (graduation) date.  They compete against one another as divisions in such things as Volleyball, Tug of War, Relay Races, etc.  I believe it is basically for bragging rights between the divisions and is held the Saturday before graduation. I believe they also compete against one another by performing an Inspirational Chant that they create and perform themselves.  They will announce winners of All Male Divisiions, Mixed Divisions, and the winner of the Inspirational Chant. Hopefully someone else will fill in or correct what information I have missed.

Ok, very new to this site. Have trouble with dial-up internet and time out issues. Sailor is in Division 925, and I saw comments on Captain's Cup. What is that exactly? I have been looking at the different links on this site, and there are sooooo many. Somewhat overwhelming.
