We did the lighting of the blue candle during the same time period last night. We did not walk backwards and flop around like a dolphin, but it seemed we were doing our part. My husband took off work today to be with me when the phone finally rings this afternoon. It was an uneasy night, not necessarily full of concern, but rather full of excitement and optimism. Can't wait to finally (hopefully) have and extended conversation with our son. What calls we have had have been brief . . . 5 to 10 minutes. Hoping for longer and happier today.
How do you light the blue candle?
I haven't gotten any call yet either. 7 more days for a hug and lots of tears!
Hello!, my nephew/godson in ship 12 division 161 was on battle stations last night. Has anyone heard outcome or received a phone call yet? I lit the blue candles for all the recruits since 8 last night. I have not been able to sleep between battle stations and the royal wedding! Terry
