Praying for all going through BS tonight!  :)  Need to go out and get a blue candle for you all.. I think 925 must be the last div. to do BS! :(

For any of the newcomers to this group, in case you haven't heard, there is a discussion (above, click view all) about wearing colored scarves to PIR to identify with other N4M's in your division. If you'd like to join in, the list of colors by division is at the beginning of the discussion. Since PIR is right around the corner, I thought I'd better mention it :-) There's no need to RSVP or anything like that, I just wanted to remind everyone.

Yep, this is the GRAND FINALE for you all.  The pressure on your new sailors is finally lifted and they can breathe again!  The I'm a Sailor call is very special....enjoy, ladies!

For those lighting blue candles for the BattleStations groups, please be careful not to set your house on fire!  :-)  Some ladies actually purchase electric ones just for that reason!  HA!

For those who don't know this tradition, it is to let the SRs know you are thinking of them and praying for them during this drill.  They are also lit many times when ships are deployed and returning home, for the same reason.  Just a reminder that your sweet sailor is out there!

For any who have ordered the bluestar flags, you can display those in your front windows once your SR has become a sailor.  A nice way to let your neighbors know that you are a proud military family!

Ladies, since you are starting BattleStations tonight, you may want to check out the BattleStations group above to read what your SRs will be going through.  In addition to what I wrote, there is a link on there (under the red writing) that Craig (retired Navy) posted for you all.  Worth the time to read it.

A big HOOYAH for 157 and 158 tonight!  Calls should start coming in around 2 pm Central time tomororw...phones GLUED to your bodies....you don't want to miss this call.

From the info I received, these are the only 2 divisions I was told are gonig tonight.  I have 159-162 scheduled for tomorrow night.  If anyone hears differently, please let me know.  Still don't have a date for 925.  Anyone hear anything for that group?

Comment by ebigirl on April 27, 2011 at 11:39am

I will post as soon as I get my call. I have NO plans for tomorrow except to wait for the phone to ring. Thank you for the beautiful prayer saugonda. Amen, Amen, Amen. GO 157!! I love you Goose!
