Black backpack is IF your planning on buying ANY type of bag to give them at the airport. The bag MUST be SOLID black. No logos, no stripes, no colors.

What is the black back pack for?? I missed something. Anyone else have a SR flying to Pensacola? Do they have flight info. My SR has suddenly changed jobs so we now know nothin. Typical of him to not get any details! Cant believe its a week and a half!!

ladies, thank you for all the kind & encouraging words.  yes, i mailed out a letter to let her know that i am behind her 100%, and i am very proud to be her mom. also told her about the stupid cell phone fiasco. informed her to call me on it now since it is in my pocket & charged at all times!

i hope i get to meet all you ladies at meet & greet on 5-6. as of now, i haven't changed anything, just waiting for the call.  spoke with her recruiter, he said b/c doesn't talk to them, but he would see what he could find out.

good luck to all the div. going thru battlestations this week! stay strong & proud! and, hopefully, only 9 more days till we all get to see our SR's!

lol ebigirl I am trying to add some hoodies and cardigans to the outfits so it'll just be my feet that are cold lol but a set of Navy sweats will probably be sounding pretty good once I'm there!...my mom just told me she would bring my uggs to me lol!!! What would I do if I didn't have such a great mom! Can't wait to meet you all too, unfortunately I don't know if I will be at meet and greet though...we will see!!

Ginnibean-Thank you for the great laugh! You could always buy a pair of Navy sweats and Navy hoodie and call it good! Looking forward to meeting you.

I found a very nice black backpack at Marshalls it is made by solo. It is large enough to hold a 17.3 inch laptop and more. I paid $29.99, later that day I went to Best Buy to look for music and I saw the exact backpack for $59.99....I was glad to see that I got a good deal:):) If you don't have a Marshalls near you they do have one at Gurnee Mills shopping Mall near Great Lakes.
