sherilyn:  I got the same kind of call when my son was there...that he thought he might be asmoed but he was hoping that he wouldn't be.  But he ended up being asmoed for a week.  For him, it turned out to be a good thing...he ended up in a division after that where he was able to stay more focused and did much better.  The RDCs may be playing hardball now since they are so close to PIR...and using whatever they need to in order to motivate the division to get it all together.

I know Friday seems like worlds away for you....but I agree with what all of the ladies have been writing...write to her...encourage her...this is just a bump in the road...whether she is asmoed or not.  She just needs to be reminded again of how proud you all are of her...and reminded that this "too shall pass."  Please be sure to post when you hear from her.  And I hope she calls before Friday.

@sherilyn - send a letter & encourge her & let her know how you feel, your pride, etc, etc. Words of encouragement are what they all need right now, they are in the homestretch now.  She will be fine & just needs to know her family this there for her no matter what!

I am so curious now.  I have to find a copy of that book!

I LOVE that book.  So, so sweet.  Gave it to my mom and my MIL years ago...

I'm so anxious to hear about Battlestations...can't hardly breathe.  I don't even know when he's going, but I will be burning a candle for all of our SR's.  That way he'll be covered.

see, that is where i am confused.  she's been writing & telling me that she's been passing all of her tests with flying colors, she has a ribbon for shooting, and she was looking forward to battlestations. now, i have no idea what's happened, and she told my husband that she didn't want to tell him now, she would call us on friday & let us know what's going on.

my stupid cell phone needed to be charged, so she couldn't get thru to me! i hate cell phones! just got a new one & forgot to put the car charger in the car.
