Thank you for the info! Can't say that it's good news, but at least we get them all day Friday.

No, but his Stepdad was asking around and everyone seems pretty 100% sure about it. I asked him in my last letter so its just waiting to see what he says now.
mj i guess our answer is .. they will be leaving very early sat morning .. that stinks..
Bummer! I'm still staying through Sunday in case they get delayed or we are wrong. Hopefully they can tell us more when they call---hopefully soon!

His family and I are staying through to sunday also just in case! there is always hope!

Definitely hope! One of my close friends from college lives in downtown Chicago too so if i HAVE to say goodbye to my SR on Saturday, I'll have someone fun to take my mind off things and see the sights of the city (anyone is welcome to join if our boys (and girls!) do leave Saturday morning!!)
I hear there is so much to do and see in chicago! shouldn't be too hard to stay busy

Am I the only mom with a daughter PIR 6-10 that is heading to goose creek, sc for nuke? She is Ship 7 Div 193

I'm sure there are moms who don't know about this site who have daughters going to SC as well! Sounds like Nuke is a huge group. At least you know shell be safe surrounded by military men!

My SR is division 199 (ship 11).  I think his division is both genders, but I do not know who is nuke in that group.

THATS RIGHT OUR MILITARY MEN ..
ANYBODY KNOW ANY THING ABOUT A 2 WEEKS LEAVE ANY TIME SOON AFTER BOOT CAMP ?
