My son is in the same div 201 ship 09!! Its been really tough missing him so much!! Hoping to hear from him this week!! We had 1-20min phone call today 2-weeks ago I was working but his dad talked to him!! He had had a bad cold for 2-weeks but is better now!! We received 2-letter on the same day about 10-days ago. Also 3 of his friends including our other son had gotten letters from him!! Cant wait till graduation!! Our son will be going to A-school in Pensacola after Bootcamp. Any others going??

My son is in this division, ship 9, division 201.  He will be staying at Great Lakes for A school.  We've gotten 2 calls, one this past Saturday and one the week before.  3 letters.  His sister has gotten letters also.  The hardest part of these 8 weeks has been not being able to text or call whenever.  Makes us appreciate all those letters more!   He's also had a really bad cold, with that many people in close quarters it is inevitable.  He barely recovered from having 2 wisdom teeth out, and then now a really bad sore throat and fever. Hopefully it won't turn into anything worse.  I've made reservations at the Residence Inn for the weekend.

Yes the hardest part is defintely not being able to phone or hug our son!! Two months before he left for Bootcamp he and I would jog several times a week which was really quality time!!

I am hoping that maybe today we will get a phonecall or letter!! I can imagine that they will all be happy when Bootcamp is over with!! What will your son be trained for at the A-school in Great Lakes?? We have reservations at the Red Carpet Inn for 3-nights but we dont know any details of when he will leave for Pensacola.

Our son will be training for the EN (Engineman) qualification in A school.  In the last phone call home he mentioned that he's already had his second haircut and that they would be taking pictures this week.  Can't wait to see those pics!  I've been searching the random pics posted on the Naval Training web site but haven't seen any that look like him yet--drats!

My SR's mom and I will be going to the graduation also! His father is also going to be flying out for the graduation. It's coming so quickly.

When he called on Saturday he said he had a pretty bad cold and was hoping to get over it soon. He also said that they are going into Hell week starting today. Wishing them luck and Hope they all feel better and soon!!

We have a SAILOR!!!!  Yay 201!
Same here! (: Im so proud of all of them! WOOO 201!!! :D
