I Love Thomas: Hi! The prices on the order form are as follows: Packages (assorted sizes, 2 different combos) $140 and $120; division photo: $20, frames: $9, dvd/video: $29. I think that's pretty much the whole thing. I'll check tomorrow (my work email) to see if they have an 800 number that you can call but I think it's through the base and so just an 847 number. I bought several division photos for $8 each at the NEX (base) just after graduation. Maybe there are more options? Might be worth the call. I'll check tomorrow for you, okay?

Okay BunkerBee, I did it! I just created a "Grad & Go Info" group. I really need HELP from anyone who has experience with a recruit who is/was a G&G - or if you know info that would be helpful for others. I feel good about answering most questions, but I don't want all the input coming from me. It's not my group, it's everyone's group!

I just started it 15 minutes ago, so I really need others to join. Okay, even if it's just to make me feel better and to give me some company because it's weird seeing only one member!!!

If you have a G&G and have questions, this group will do their best to answer your questions. Thanks for your support!

Hi Olga, JamieNMax and anyone else would would like to order photos: I'm not sure how I can forward the email with the PDF order form on Navy for Moms. I'm trying to do that now. Anyway, I just called the NEX Photo Lab number below (847-578-6205) and they took my email address and sent an order form (PDF) to my email address. If you want to send me an email or give me your email address, here's mine: tmatheny@irell.com. Whatever you guys want to do. I wanted the dvd because I ran out of memory on my camera!

Sounds like the mall was bombarded with new sailors today! My son got a phone as he "accidently" threw his away when they were going through processing and the kid in a box thing. He's called, texted, and seems to be figuring it all out! Said he was much more orientated as things are more relaxed. I told him not to get too relaxed!
Drew's mom- I have pictures I can email you and also a video (you can see sections of it under PIR 6/11 videos) if you want. Let me know!.

Tess, it seriously is weird being able to communicate after not for so long. He text me at 3:45 this afternoon and we have been texting since. He's out and about at the mall getting a laptop. He says "I'll call you when I get back on base." I'm not used to this, but definitely NOT complaining.

Hi all - sorryI did not make it to the M & G my plane was delayed. :( I really wanted to meet you all. when I arrived there were only a few people left in the bar. Graduation was great and it was nice visiting my son even though we could only spend Saturday at the airport with him before he flew out...

I have not had much time to catch up so this weekend I will be going through all the messages to catch up.

Oh, and sesommer: congratulations on the call! Doesn't it feel strange to be able to talk to them now? My son called late last night before bed. Oh, the little things that give us joy! :)
