LMC....what time of the day did you get your call?

Now I will prayer for your Weds BS21 group that you don't have to wait all day for a call to let you know they are Sailors. That was really annoying. I think they should reach you before noon Chicago time because if you wanted to send the care congrats box you would have to do it by noon on Thursday. But just my thought.

It kills me that Div 216 doesn't do BS until Wednesday night... the anticipation is driving me insane! Poor Marc (and the rest of the boys), I can only imagine how he feels. Congrats to everyone who has received the call :)

can't wait for the call, if he decides he wants to make it!

Good advice about cell phones below - however, if they are a Grad & Go - and you meet them at the airport, you can hand them their cell phones, laptops, ipods, etc. But they still cannot walk and talk on them anywhere in public while in uniform. Calls made from motel room is fine and they can talk on cells while sitting in your car too.

I discussions above (click view all) there is a thing on PIR. it is kind of long but helps you out with what to expect that weekend. My son and other sailors in the mall had their cell phones but had to stop to use it. Which I will tell you took to long to try to get around that big mall. They can't take them back with them to base.
