SUSAN M: Thanks for the info. I have a question for you. Should we bring "real" underwear for them at the hotel???!!! That made me laugh. Seriously though, they might want some "normal" stuff to wear while in the hotel room. Please advise.
OMG! I can just see people trampled under foot to get to their sailors. I will resist the urge to trample! Keep the bits of information coming alumni. I will be logging in until the last minute...... :)

LMC - Thank You, for your concern...Yes I do have a blue handicap sign that I will be bringing along. I had this dream over and over again...that I would be wearing a cast on my foot!! I even tried to be extra careful at the lake "Memorial Day" week; but the first thing out of the RV what do I find the only hole on site. LOL

Well, ladies. Today is the day for us. Pawpaw and I are leaving in 4 hours. We will stay tonight in either Joplin or Springfield - just depends on how heavy the foot is and how long we want to drive. Everyone: have a safe trip. The "ride" on N4Ms for this proud grandmother has been fun. Love to you all, Lynda

Hello Ladies, my son called Friday letting me know that he completed Battleship 21 and got his navy Cap. Unfortunetely I missed his call, so i had to settle for his voicemail. Nevertheless - I am happy he is finished with it. He was eating beef jerkey and had a rd bull or monster drink. He sounded so good and relieved at the same time. I think it is time now to stop writing letters. I wouldn't think that they get there before Friday....In reference to Graduation...my son said that it is mandatory for active duty family members to wear Class A Uniforms, and it is optional for retired/ veterans. Can anybody confirm this information please?
