Congrats to all who have made it through the worst part of bc. Reading all of this makes me cry on one hand and worry on the other. No new news, no letters or phone calls but I'm praying for everyone to make it threw.

I_love_Thomas, It is the last week but if you hear from him in the next day or so he can see. If not Ty's Mom don't worry after they sit everyone they let the others waiting come in. Just save a seat.

Moms, guess what?! Miss Katie T's Gf just called and informed me that she has set up with Wriggly Field to congratulate Tristan on their electrical commentary board for next Sundays game!! Does anybody know the correct name for this board?!

Can I somehow get my guy to write her name down as his guest? I am the only one on his list, and when he calls for the sailor call, I can tell him

Correction...PIR is Friday, 6/11...oops...leaving on Thursday...too excited I guess..

Hi all...I received a letter from Ty today. He said it would probably be the last letter i would receive since PIR is Thursday. He sounded stressed but he said I would be able to pick him out of his division because he's the TALLEST...he said that he was going to be a "Crossguard" when they march during the PIR (wearing a orange vest)...does anyone know what a "Crossguard" is or how he achieved that?

Also..Mom/Wives...letters are sooo meaningful to them....he did say he was really gets inspired by the motivational letters and also he is really touched by how involved I am in his navy career...so THANK YOU for educating me on the NAVY way of life and for being here for me during this whole process. Navy4Moms is a wonderful group for support. Hugs to all..and congratulations!!

I think FML (family leave act covers going to the PIR but not certain. check with your sons recruiter and see if he knows anything about that.
