Tristan's Mom: Congratulations! Yeah, Alex is going to A School there on the base. Electronics technician --already an E3. So off to a good start. He told me that they took the guys down to get them candy to celebrate. Alex says he thinks he ate too much but he kept eating it the whole time we were on the phone! Oh, what a relief! I hope all goes well for all of them. I want them all to do well!

I just got off the phone with my husband!! He's a sailor!! I'm so proud. He's still sick and said that he thought he was going to pass out during the running on Tuesday, but he made it. He was eating 2 snickers bars and drinking a mountain dew!!

DeannaD: I have 4 (3 grandsons and that 1 special grand-daughter.) Colby is the oldest and the one who graduates next Friday (sounds so good!!!), the next is the grand-daughter at 15, the next one is 11 and "my little farmer" is 6. It's a long sad story but I also am "Aunt Memee" to my brother's 4 grandchildren so I claim them as mine. They are 10, 7, 2, and almost 4 months; 2 boys, 2 girls. I have LOTS to spoil.

Sealifedifferently: Big Congratulations to you and your Sailor. I can't wait until it's our turn.
DeannaD: I do spoil my family! I have pretty much given all my grandkids whatever they want. Each one has a special name. Since Colby was the first, he's P.J. (Memee's "P"ride and "J"oy).
