Hey everyone I got a phone call on Friday and he thinks that they might get one more for the holiday weekend!! He is ship 11 Div 209. I was visiting his sister for the week, so it was good to the call while I was there. He got promoted to E2 :) I'm so proud of him!! He also said that they do fire fighting on Tuesday and then tests I think on Wednesday, and that Thursday and Friday are battlestations, overnight I believe. And then Saturday is the day for calls when he gets to say he is a sailor!! I can't believe less than 2 weeks now!!

Recruit Heaven is where the sailors go to celebrate the end of basic training.

I was reading 6/4 PIR and see someone told them it's cold in the hall for PIR but warm out in Chicago.
hope everyone is enjoying the weekend.

Does anyone know exactly what Recruit Heaven is? Why do they get to go? I read somewhere that it was after Battlestations but they haven't done that yet have they? I'm sure I would have noticed everyone talking about the I'm a Sailor call if that was the case LOL

I was so happy to hear his voice!!! 2 times in one week!!! It is between him and a girl in his division for honors, and no offense, but I pray that he recieves them. I am glad that they were given some time to relax!! LESS THAN 2 WEEKS TO GO!!!! YEAH!!!
