Hi ladies, My son was grad on 19 MAR 10. I had a lot of great Ladies help me through boot camp and well they are still there for me. Because all they have done for me I like to be able to pass it froward. I am out here if you need anything and I still have them if I don't know the answer right away.

I love seeing ship 11. My son was in ship 11 and made my heart skip when I saw it.

Thanks Cindy ... that news clip was intense and super insightful!! By the way, you asked if my son mentioned last names, and, i only heard from him after week 3. At that point he mentioned he kind of buddied up but didn't mention names. And I wasn't a Navy4moms member yet ... Not sure why!!! This Navy4moms site has been so great, I cannot tell you how glad I am to be part of it now. ~Abbe

Hi Kathryn ... saw your post from yesterday. I haven't heard from my son for two weeks, so I know what you're going through. i was so hoping to find something in the mail today ... but no. I just keep reminding myself, 'no news is good news'. my son, George, is not big on communication and I'm sure he's working really hard so i'm hanging on to that. hang in there. we're all in this together. ~Abbe

I've been so buried in work lately, and just got back from business travel, I haven't been keeping up with N4M as much as I'd like. I can't believe how close we are to PIR! YAY! Can't wait to see everyone!

~~~Now back to work for me.....so that I can tackle this paperwork and get caught up enough to enjoy my June vacation time with my sailor girl!
