Dear Charles'Mom,
So glad to hear that you received a phone call from your son!
Comment by Charles' Mom Ship 11 Div 210 on May 23, 2010 at 11:48pm
Hello my fellow N4Ms.....I got a phone call today at 15:59 pm from Charles. I was so happy; I just knew he would call me today. We spoke for about 45 minutes and it made my day. I was so happy to hear his voice. Boy - he sounded good, and I wanted so bad to stop the clock. Through our conversation I could sense the transformation in my child. His articulation was enhanced and he sounded so polite, like I never knew him. This is so awesome. He told me that his 'A' school will be right across the street from where he is right now, which means that I get to spend the whole weekend with him. He said that his division is doing very good. His foot is much better, and he scored high on his recent PT test. Well, I am off to bed, but wanted to share the good news about my phone call with charles with everyone. Wishing all the recruits a successful week 6, and hope that everyone gets a phone call or letter. good night ya'll

To all of fyou that got phone calls I am so happy for you.

WendyG - I know how you feel but I am sure she was fine on her B-day. My son said he was so busy that he did not even really remember that it was his B-Day. We can celebrate late as well when we see them for graduation.

Good night to all... have a great Monday.

No phone calls for me yet... Hope my girl found some way to celebrate her 19th birthday today... wish I could have told her Happy Birthday. And I sure hope the cards I sent her got there for her yesterday. Guess I will probably find out when I get the next letter from her.

Glad to hear comments from all who did get calls. I am happy for you all! Will be so great to see them at PIR! Is getting so close, but wish it was tomorrow... LOL
