TristansMom-That's good that you are writing about what's going on in the outside world...because I haven't been! I barely know what's going on right now lol I haven't been watching much news lately. I know they like to hear what is going on.

LMC-Thanks for writing to him no matter what it is! He will love any mail!

My son T is a Corpsman Reservist. after PIR he will start A school on Monday 6/14 there in GL for approx. 3-4 months then on to 29 Palms or Camp Pendleton for another 2-3 months. Then it's just 1 weekend a month for the next 6 years. T feels he's to old to start a full time career with the Navy, but wants to stand ready when and if Liberty needs him. He has a AA degree in Criminal Justice and wants to further his education into a branch of the police services and or emergency response. In this day and age education is key and you still are not guaranteed a life long position with benefits and a retirement so the more experience you have behind you (especially Military) the better the chances.

Wayne's going to Pensacola for Aviation Mechanics. Where in FL is Ian going? My son also wrote and told me to add USS Constitution...but in his last letter he didn't include the ship name. I'm thinking the ship names are just for their bootcamp location.

As for the return my son blacks that out also but the other young man I wrote to didn't so I have no clue why.

Jeff's mom- What will your sailor's A school be in Fla? My son is Activation Support tech when he goes to Fla.

I too have sent Trevor some notes nothing real exciting but mail I did send him that comment about the Mom's test. I thought it was pretty cute. I told him to do well on his tests at boot.
