I've "heard" folks talking about these pictures, however; I have not seen them.  Does anyone have any they are willing to share or know of an order form to get them??

Sealifedifferntly~ I am sorry for the loss of your friend and I couldn't even imagine what her and her family are going through. She's lucky to have friends like you to be by her side in her time of need.

To all you girls out there! Early wishes for a Happy Mothers Day!
Found this in church bulletin and it really gripped my heart.

Being A Mother

Somebody said it takes about six weeks to get back to normal after you've had a baby...somebody doesn't know that once you're a mother, "normal" is history.
Somebody said you learn how to be a mother by instinct... somebody never took a three year old shopping.
Somebody said being a mother is boring...somebody never rode in a car driven by a teenager with a driver's permit.
Somebody said if you're a "good" mother, your child will "turn out good"...somebody thinks a child comes with directions and a guarantee.
Somebody said you don't need an education to be a mother... somebody never helped a fourth grader with his math.
Somebody said you can't love the second child as much as you love the first...somebody doesn't have two children.
Somebody said the hardest part of being a mother is labor and delivery...somebody never watched her "baby" get on the bus for the first day of kindergarten...or on a plane headed for Military Boot Camp.
Somebody said a mother can stop worrying after her child gets married...somebody doesn't know that marriage adds a new son or daughter-in-law to a mother's heartstrings.
Somebody said a mother's job is done when her last child leaves home...somebody never had grandchildren.
Somebody said your mother knows you love her, so you don't need to tell her...somebody isn't a mother.

Sorry this was so long but I wanted to share it
with you all going through this emotional roller coaster on a special day.

I also received a letter but am away on business and can't read it until tomorrow! But his best friend received a letter today as well and it sounds as though my Tim is doing really well. He is Ship 11 Div 211. The dam has broken it seems!!! Yes!!

It came today!!! A LETTER. I am so excited. I really felt as if I were losing it. Not knowing and feeling so blocked off from my son. We haven't been apart this long in his 18 years of life. He seems in good humor joked about the" 10 second shower with 88 other dudes". Told his dad to take care of himself because he was getting "old". They really love to mess with each other. I can't wait to see him. 5 weeks and counting!!

I just got my first letter from my daughter yesterday. After reading that they can only send and receive mail on Sunday's that helped put things in perspective for me. She said she hasn't earned enough to be able to call this week so guess I have to wait a week to hear her voice but I'm with the rest of you - anxiously awaiting 06/11!!!!!

I'm starting to wonder if Josh forgot our home address!!! I know that I should just enjoy the moment and let things take their course, but I really want a letter. I didn't even have a little lizard when I opened my mailbox today. I did however, have a letter sent back to me that I sent my little brother (he's in Marine bootcamp) on April 11. I forgot to put one number in the address, I feel so bad. It was actually a letter that my daughter wrote him and some pictures of my husbands good luck party.
I really think this is a test from God ....and I sure hope I'm passing!!!

He had two options and hadnt chosen the last time we spoke. He was going between Electronics Tech or Fire Controlman.

Guess its good to hear the others from his division havent called/written yet either. Oh! I wanted to let you know, I had called his petty officer a few days ago to make sure it was ok to send cards, cuz so many on here had said they were and my bf wasnt sure. While talking to the petty officer he did tell me they have access to stamps. So that is one less thing to worry about.

Hope u are all having a great day!! Huggles!

To Focusing on the Future: Not a word from him. His mom hasn't either. From what I've read from other moms it is just now getting time to get a letter or phone call. Pawpaw or I one have written him every day so I know he should be getting mail soon. I'm worried now that maybe I should have sent some stamps with him so he could send a letter. Colby is a fairly quite person and pretty reserved until he gets to know people. In some ways he's a loner and I do pray this Navy experience will get him out of that and become more outgoing. Colby is going to A-School to be a SeaBee: Construction Electrician. What is your boyfriend's job?
