I've "heard" folks talking about these pictures, however; I have not seen them. Does anyone have any they are willing to share or know of an order form to get them??

Wow Kim, I didn't realize the sailors actually live on the ship if they aren't deployed. That's how much I know...lol. Wayne complained about how cold it was when they went to Florida so I'm planning on buying him a nice warm sleeping bag.
I am extremely happy he's stationed in Oceana. He wanted CA and I was hoping for VA. He has watch on Xmas eve and the day after but we'll work out seeing him on xmas some how. I can't believe Christmas is Saturday.
That's a Great Idea! Pam thanks for the link I will have to check it out for sure!
Hi Joyce. I saw that you joined the Enterprise group. It is a very active group!
Your son should count himself lucky that he is in the barracks for now. Janis' and my son both live on the ship and they say it can be very cold!
Judy, if you want to know the adventures of the Big E, they have a Facebook fan page where they post pics and current things they are up to!
I joined the NAS OCEANA group since my son is in the aviation section and not at Norfolk. Much smaller then the Norfok area although he's only about 15 minutes away. Also seems that there are more married sailors in Oceana. The NAS group talk about their kids getting married and living off base. Wayne seems to be extremely bored in the barracks and doesn't do much but work and sleep. He says they take over $300 out of his pay every month and he never has time to eat there because of his hours. I'm hoping things turn around for him.
I'll have to check out the Big E's group and see if I can find out more info.
Wow the Big E, sounds ominous...That is so great that 3 sailors from our original group are on the same ship!! Now that you All made it back here maybe you can join the Enterprise group but still come back here and post...I would love to hear about the goings on the Big E. lol
Dear Joyce-
Welcome to the Enterprise group also - my son and Kim's son are both assigned to the Big E.
Janis
Hello everyone. It's been a really long time since I've been on this website. Happy holidays to everyone. Wayne's not sure if he will be home for XMAS but being that he's in Oceana we will take a ride up to see him. He's only 3 1/2 hours from us in NC. He'll be deployed on the Enterprise mid January for just over 6 months. Hope everyone is doing well - glad to see everyone keeping in touch.
PS - I'm in NC and my home is also open to our sailor family. :)
Judy,
I hope he gets to do what he wants! Sounds dangerous to me! Happy holidays!
Kim, Yes! T is a Reservists. He really wants to work on the boarders of California and Mexico and to keep the Mexican Cartel from penetrating California with there Drug battles!
Happy Holidays everyone! My sailor will be home for 5 days starting tomorrow!
He has to be back at the ship for Christmas but at least I get him for awhile!
Judy, is your son in the Reserves? I'm a little slow...all that training that he went through! Wow. Tess, just let us know..one of us should be able to figure it out!
