I've "heard" folks talking about these pictures, however; I have not seen them.  Does anyone have any they are willing to share or know of an order form to get them??

I still haven't gotten a letter either. On Sunday he said that they hadn't gotten mail, so I'm thinking that if they got no ingoing mail, no outgoing mail must have gone out.
I get flowers from him today. He arranged for them to be delivered to my work before he left. It really just made me sad, but I'm so grateful for the thought he put into them. I almost started crying at work, but spoke to some friends and held it together.
And I found out I can fly (I'll be 35 weeks pregnant at that point) to PIR as long as he doesn't get pushed back!! So that was my good news of the day!

Tess - Your words come across as the calm in the furry of random thoughts of those as myself and I'm sure others when you're right into the first or second week of BC and you read and say"okay, the consensus is that every Mom is experiencing the same intensity of emotions" You Moms keep Me sane!!

Tess- You always know exactly what to say to make everyone feel better. I know what you mean about praying, I have been doing the same. I have written him a little letter and send everyday. It does make me feel better. I can not wait to meet you in person to say thank you for all you do. In the meantime just know that I appreciate all your kind words and wisdom.

It's kind of great that at least you know it's coming. If it's taking a long to get here, it must be the most wonderful letter of all. Every day that goes by that I don't hear anything, I feel a little better in a way. Another day of this is over. I do know how you feel though. I've done more praying in the last few weeks than I have in a year. It's not just my son who's growing in this process. My patience has grown for one thing! And I feel connected to you and all the others who's hearts are breaking and it makes me know that there sure are some wonderful people out there. Your letter will come. Maybe you can write him one for now, in it's place.

When I talked to him on Sunday he said that he wrote and sent tot he mail so that is why it is so devistating.... so I know that there is one out there...just not sure where... There is always tomorow :)

I like to think that they are so focused on doing a good job, and are so tired from giving it all they've got, that they spend any free moment studying for a test or resting --saving up all the good news for us for when they can say "I made it through!". Wine is good too tho :)

Melody M, didn't your son/daughter write a small comment on the form letter? That gave me a clue that he was doing o.k. It may be short and sweet but at least that is something to go by. I have been waiting for the mail also, but reading some of these comments I think the best attitude we all can take is no news is good news. My husband works for US PO, I told him for years now I would not wait for the mail Ever... Am I eating those words. We got our sons box a week after he was at bc and couldn't figure out why, untill we looked at Fed Ex stickers and someone keyed the zip code wrong, My son prints beautifully and they keyed info wrong! When I think about him calling home I get butterflies in my stomach we all miss him so much, even our dog has been going in his room and laying by the bed (never did that before). Best wish to all for mail call.

We just gotten the box and form letter. No news yet. Can't wait to see how he's handling everything. :)

I too am getting antsy for the first letter. Luckily I work from home, so every morning I take a break and walk to the mailbox at 10:00 am. Each day that I open the mail box and there's no letter, I sob all the way home. Cars pass and honk as I am walking down the highway like I am some sort of crazy heartbroken lunatic. I want to yell at them "I'm not crazy, I'm just a new Navy Mom!"
