I've "heard" folks talking about these pictures, however; I have not seen them.  Does anyone have any they are willing to share or know of an order form to get them??

I booked our room at the Ramada also. I am glad there is a complimentary shuttle with the graduation package. I am excited about the "Meet and Greet"! Hope to see all of you there!

I received a pamphet about "graduation packages", including hotels in the area. It was enclosed with the form letter I rec'd from my recruit. I made reservations at the Ramada/Waukegan. They have a shuttle and give Navy rates (several in the area do). I was told I could cancel/change the reservation up to the day prior.

Good morning Seslifedifferently, i mentioned to Tristan that he has a team mate by the name of Bobby Walker, He tried to think but I could tell that his brain was "saying no more information PLEASE, not today" but I told Tristan just remember the name at roll call and write it the next letter. He said that there is no talking to other recruits. By the way is there any other Moms with the same ship 11 div 109 out there?!

Moms and Grandmothers (so many now):
Thanks for all the moral support. You are all wonderful. My mom is worried too and I have a daughter who is married with kids --lots of grandmas here! My son's name is Alex and he is the tallest in his division. I told him about some of the other moms, grandmas, and their recruits. He asked for their last names because he said that he really doesn't know anyone's first name. I told him we can only share first names but that there were a lot of guys whose moms had gathered in support of them all. I told him to watch for Steven, Tristan, Andrew and that he may be living next to a young man whose mom had gathered with the masses to show support! :) Thanks again everyone. So much better to go through this together rather than alone.

Judy- When I talked to my son on the hone I told him that there was one mom on the website that had a son in his same ship and division. So the next letter I send I will let him know that his name is Tristan... he did ask but I did not have the website up so was not sure. My son is 23 years old and has been away from home several times for football & baseball camp where they were yelled at as well. So I believe that is why my son is doing OK with all of this. He has a heart of gold and will help anyone, so I am sure that since they are in the same group that maybe he will help him when needed. Even though my son was upbeat I still worry and have the rollercoaster emotions. I guess it is just a mom thing... he did mention that he wrote his first letter so maybe this week I wll get more news.

GRAMIRE - thanks for joining us.... my mom is also a worried grandma so I understand completely..... she always has said that there is no other kind of love that a chandma has for a grandchild...she said it is different and so special.
