I've "heard" folks talking about these pictures, however; I have not seen them.  Does anyone have any they are willing to share or know of an order form to get them??

Kim,  will start a shopping list of items starting with med. white boxers. LOL

I have to say I feel really bad for that Officer who is in the news...He looks like a really good person who wanted to show a lighter side to the Military!!

Judy,

Of course you have to check in! If you want to send anything to the Enterprise, let me know! Joyce's son, mine and Janis' are all deploying next week, according to ABC news! Oh, and my sailor needs a size Medium!!! LOL

Hey Everybody, I was feeling kinda like out in left field with T being a reservists and not yet deploying, so I have just been checking in on the group to see who's doing what I'm so excited that you all have the same in common with your cubs!

Kim, Olga & Joyce, I now know what I can contribute to the group...I can provide chocolate and white boxers to your respective ships. lol No really once the guys are settled in I would like to send some goody bags to the sailors deployed on the ship!

As for T, well looks like he may get deployed to the sandbox in 2011!!

Olga, I'll remember chocolate! My son doesn't like sweets but I'm sure he could trade it for something! Maybe clean underwear!

Sajest-

I'm excited for my son. He is tired of sitting in port! I think the Norfolk Pilot (newspaper) now needs to print something good after all the bad publicity they just gave the Big E. They have a new Captain assigned to them so they are all set. I heard from ABC news that they were leaving next week!!! My sailor doesn't tell me anything!

Joyce-Make sure your son has warm clothes. Mine says it's cold on board. Also, lots of white boxers! I guess underwear are a commodity and they have to be white to go through the ships laundry. I think clean underwear is worth money at the end of a cruise!

Yup, Wayne is also on the Enterprise. He hasn't commented much about it. I'm thinking that is because he's actually with his squadron in Oceana/Virginia Beach. He is attached to the Enterprise and will be deploying with them next week. I'm sure he'll have more to say once they are deployed.

Hello ladies. Happy New Year to you all.  Olga, those racks don't look very inviting. I can't imagine adding a sub to the equation. I'm claustrophobic as it is. Wayne came home this past weekend and we went shopping for all the things he will need on his deployment. I hate it for the Big E right now. There is so much negative attention right before their deployment. Hope this clears up quickly.

Ouch! I guess if you are on a sub you learn to duck pretty quickly!

My son is getting ready to go underway on the Enterprise, yes the one with the Captain in the news. Too bad...

Everyone have a great New Year!

He actually has off xmas day but has watch the day before and the day after. But it seems like it changes on a daily basis. So we will have to wait and see...thanks for your offer but Wayne isn't on the ship yet...lol.

If anyone is interested, I'm watching "carriers" by pbs. You can watch it free online, just google carriers pbs. It has details about ship life or you can watch it via netflix or blockbuster. Very interesting. We can see what our sailors will be doing next month while deployed.

Hi Joyce! My son has watch on Christmas eve, too. I think he has Christmas day off but would do your son's watch for him if they let him so that you could spend time with him (look at me volunteering him!). I was lucky in that he got to be home for 5 days and just left today to report back in. Yes, the ship is cold, and there are a lot of guys living there!
