Hi ladies, it was great to meet you on Thursday. Got home late last night. Because Lucas didn't have to be back to base until 7:00 PM we stayed another night and drove home early Monday morning. What a WONDERFUL time we had! He looked healthy and happy. We toured Chicago on Saturday and went to see Transformers in IMAX on Sunday. Friday was just a chill out day for him. He reconnected his phone and got in touch with friends. It was hard leaving him but he is so excited about getting to SC and Nuke school. He was leaving today and I hope to hear from him soon. Need to send his phone, laptop, etc once he gives me his address. Will post pictures as soon as I get to upload them.

Cindy, you are absolutely right about that one! I'm at work now and I'm getting so excited I can't concentrate on anything. I'll be a total basket case tomorrow waiting for THE CALL.

Cindy, can't wait to be able to change mine. Hopefully, tomorrow night before I leave on the drive from NJ to Great Lakes.

Thank you, Sue! Now like Kim and Annie I will get there early enough to see them before the ceremony begins. I feel so much better knowing a little bit more about what will happen. Kim, we are definitely sitting together!

Thanks Laura and Tammy for the great idea! Now, I'm going to make my meatballs for Lucas and bring the pasta and heat it like you said. We have a microwave in our room.

My son has not told me if he wants me to bring anything to him. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to bring for him to use during the time I am there? He leaves for A school on June 30 so I'm assuming that he cannot take his phone and laptop back to base before he leaves for school and I will have to ship it to him.

Kelley, Hang in there. It is almost over. I know how you feel because this is the second time I haven't received a letter and I feel like I need information more now that we are coming to the end. But I keep repeating the mantra "no news is good news" and try to hang on to that. You will soon get the "I'm a Sailor" call and be wending your way to GL where you will get to hug and kiss your new Sailor.

Joanne, I'm so happy you got a call from Jason. Thank you for the news that 932 will go through BS on Tuesday. I guess we'll get the call on Wed evening. It's wonderful that the division is doing so well. Only 4 more days!!!!!
