Hi everyone. Cindy, happy belated birthday. What a wonderful surprise from Jared! He's one great kid! Joanne, happy for you that Jason will be home for your wedding. It will make your special day even more special. Kim, I so happy for you! I know how you've been missing Derek. It will be wonderful for you to spend some time with him. How long will he be able to stay?
Lucas finished ELT school and will be leaving Ballston Spa, NY next Friday. All his stuff is coming to my house. Some of it came from my house in the first place and some of it is new. We thought it foolish for him to rent a storage space since he doesn't know how long he will be living in the barracks. The good news is that he will be home for a little while before he has to report in Norfolk. WooHoo!!! But you know I'll be crying my eyes out before long when he leaves since I have no idea how long it will be before I see him again. Glad you ladies are all here for me when that happens. Love to all!!!
Hi gals! Luke just found out that he will be on the USS Boise a fast attack sub out of Norfolk, VA. Cindy, isn't Jared in Norfolk? He has to report by July 29th and has to be out of Ballston Spa, NY when school finishes in 2 weeks. Questions on what he's going to do with all his stuff from the apartment went unanswered. What a surprise. LOL!!! We are all very happy that he will be somewhat close to home. YAY!!!!
Joanne, so sorry to hear about your mother. She is definitely in a better place now but I know it still hurts. Big HUGS to you and your family!!
Cindy, very happy to hear that your mom is doing so much better. Hope you enjoy your time with your sailor and new daughter!
Cindy, sorry you were feeling depressed after Jared left for Virginia. I know that I will feel the same when Lucas is no longer in the NY area. It's a great new adventure for Jared now that he will be with a ship. Good luck to him and HUGS to you!
