Hi Kim, hope you are doing well!
Joanne, how's everything going? I've been thinking about you.
How are all my other Navy Mom's doing? Hope you are all doing great!
Lucas was home this past weekend and we celebrated his 23rd birthday which was on Sunday. Where did the time go? I know I'm not getting any older. LOL!
Have a wonderful day, all!
Joanne, hang in there. Know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. What a blessing that Jason got to come home to see his grandmother and that she knew who he was! Love and hugs to you all!
Cindy, have a great spring break. You deserve it! Take some sun and sand for me. It's still so cold here in NJ. Can't believe it's really spring.
Joanne, that's GREAT news for Ellen. You must be so proud!!!!
Thank you all you wonderful ladies!!! I really appreciate the support, hugs and love you guys are always ready to give. It was all I could do not to call him last night and cave in but I didn't and I'm sure we'll both live.
Kim, how's it going with that guy making Derek's payments? That is really scarey.
Cindy, how is Jared feeling? Better I hope. I know Luke misses him.
Joanne, love to you and your mom.
Hi gals! I have to vent and thought I'd come here to my Navy Sistas. Luke bought a car when he was down in SC. When he moved to NY he decided he needed a truck so he turned in a new car and bought a 2007 truck. Now he says he's spending too much money on gas. Well....DUH!!!! didn't you think of that before you bought the truck. Now he wants to buy a car and he can't get a car loan I'm sure because he hasn't owned one thing long enough to build up his credit. He called last night and asked if we would co-sign for him. I may sound mean, but I really don't want to do that. He has to learn that he needs to think things through before he makes a decision and then he has to live with it. We told him to hang on to it for a few more months because after he finishes this school he has no idea where the navy will send him. It was so frustrating talking to him because everything we said he had an answer for, which is normal for him so I shouldn't be surprised. By the time I was hanging up he sounded really down and I hung up depressed. I'm sure we did the right thing but it breaks my heart not to help him out. Oh well....thanks for letting me vent.
