Joanne, that's just awful. I will be praying.
Cindy, Luke's graduation is May 14. Jared will probably be in school but I'm sure I'll see him on the weekend. He doesn't know where he'll be going but he has requested NY since it's close to home and Brigitte. LOL! Wish I could see that picture. I never got around to joing Facebook. I have asked Brigitte to send me some pictures but she has been busy getting back to school. I will be sure to take pics when I'm there and send them to you.

Laura...Congratulations! That is wonderful news.
Joanne, sorry you are feeling down. I hope the good weather coming our way cheers you up. Take the weekend to go outdoors and soak up the sun.
Cindy.....WOW!!!!! Congratulations to Jared! BTW, I told Luke that I want to meet all his friends while I'm down there for graduation. Can't wait to meet Jared and I will give him a "Mom Hug" for you.

Hey gals! What a beautiful week and weekend it was in NJ. I had a bad case of Spring fever last week. Cindy, our guys were together again at the beach on Saturday. I spoke to Lucas briefly while they were at the beach bar. What a life! Once they get out of school there will be a rude awakening for them. LOL!
Joanne, hope you get one of those school district jobs. I will keep you in my prayers.
Kim, it sounds like you had a great St. Paddy's Day. Glad to hear it!
Have a wonderfuly day all.

Good morning! Yes, Joanne the 50s here in NJ too this weekend!!!! I'm am so over this snow! Hope you are feeling better. Sorry you didn't get to see Jason last weekend.
Hi Cindy, hope you are well over your strep throat. Lucas is surviving Power School but I don't get to speak to him that often. His girlfriend is flying down next Thursday during her spring break and I'm sure I won't be hearing from him at all while she's there. LOL! Can't wait to see him for graduation on May 15.
Kim, so glad you heard from Derek last week. Congratulations on him making E2. Hopefully, it will be a little easier for him moneywise.
Have a great day!!!!

Hi Ladies! I know it's been a while since I posted and so much has been going on!
Laura, you must be so proud of your hero and rightly so! God Bless all our troops who are in Haiti helping those poor people. I heard on the news this morning that they actually pulled a girl out of the rubble 15 days after the earthquake? What a miracle! Also, I hope Matt appreciates what a great girlfriend he has with you taking care of straightening out his finances for him.
Joanne, I'm so glad that you heard good news about your test! Yay!!!!
Hi Kim, hope you get to hear from Derek soon!
Hi Cindy Lou, good luck with your M&G. It WOULD be so great to see everyone again if we could.
Hi Cindy and Anne!!!!
Have a beautiful day all!

Good morning, ladies. I too had a very hard time seeing Lucas off. I cried like a baby this time knowing I wouldn't see him until graduation in May. My heart goes out to you, Kim. This must be so hard for you, not hearing from Derek for so long. I don't know how you are coping. To make you and Joanne feel better, I wanted to let you know that most of my conversations with Lucas where I call him are me asking questions all the time. Unless he is the one that initiates the call (meaning he has something to say) he's not very talkative. He's always been that way. He has to be in the mood to talk....to his parents anyway. Hang in there. Give him time to adjust to this new life and he will hopefully see the light.

Cindy, once a stalker always a stalker. LOL!!!! I know, Lucas was talking about when they watched the Alabama/Florida game all together. It's great that they still spend time together! Yes, Brigitte is his girlfriend. Joanne, I'm so sorry that this is happening to you but I do think that you have to put your foot down with your two oldest. Make them aware of how important this is to you. Laura, hope you have a wonderful time when Matt comes home. Kim, enjoy the time with your younger son. Probably won't be on for a while since today is my last day
at work and I only get to come on here then. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy and Safe New Year! Love you all!

Cindy, that is a wonderful story! How proud you must have been. Joanne, we got about a foot of snow. South Jersey got the 2 ft. Lucas actually drove home in all that. I was so nervous because he was just coming with the storm. He started out on Friday afternoon about 3:45 and got to Mechanicsville, VA at 11:30 PM. Spent the night at a hotel and then left there at 10:00 AM on Saturday morning and didn't arrive home until 11:00 PM. He had a lot of stories to tell that made me even more nervous but thank God he made it home safe and sound. He would not hear of spending an additional night at a hotel and drive on Sunday even though we would pay for it. Kim, I hope you and Derek find some enjoyment this Christmas. You both certainly deserve it! It's been a big adjustment for you both. I feel greatly blessed that we're getting this extra time with Lucas this year. Have a great day everyone!
