Let's help those who are coming to PIR by themselves find each other so that no one is traveling alone from the airport to Great Lakes.

Okay, the Meet & Greet is up! You all will need to go to the calendar on the right side of this page, and click on "Next Month." When June pops up, click on the number, "3", and that will take you to a page to RSVP your attendance for the Meet & Greet.

Only 17 more days to PIR! Only 16 more days to the Meet & Greet! Can I hear the cheering?! :-)

Well I'm glad to hear that there were no tears. Yeah, I read somewhere that casual dress code is accepted. I too haven't flown for about 20 years. However, I'm not flying to GL ... I'll be renting a car. Well, have a good night ... I'm going to hit the sack ... I have work tomorrow which orders me to get up at 5:15am (and it's already 1:15am here in Pittsburgh).
Have a good night - talk to you tomorrow.

I had a busy day got some shopping done. No tears, talked myself out of them cant feel sorry for myself when my son is doing great things in his life. Need to decide what to wear to PIR I watched videos and most people are very casual. Most wearing jeans and sweaters alot of tennis shoes. Bought Luggage, never had to before had an overnite bag if we went anywhere but it was not big enough. Havent been on a plane in over 20 yrs OH NO!! lol

Paula, How did your day go? Did you get your shopping done? I hope your day went better than you expected. You sounded sad on your note this morning. I hope you were able to dry those tears and was able to stay busy.

Okay, I contacted one of the moms on this site who is coordinating the Meet-N-Greet for her son's PIR...she gave me the details of how to do it. Is there anyone who would really like to be the one to do this for our PIR on the 4th? Let me know ASAP! If not, then I will. Please do let me know if this is something you would like to handle!! :-)

what I understand about having their stuff is: they can have it at A-school so if you meet them at the airport before the leave for A-school you can hand it off to them. Or if the are going to stay at great lakes for A-school you can give them their stuff after they move across the street. About Grad-n-go your son should tell you my daughter just let me know in the last letter about the grad-n-go thing she said she just found out her self. I heard they get a call after battlestation for sure. I hope this helps.
