Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Oh, and from what I remember, the overhead is pretty spacious.

Well, hopefully this will help as my boss travels all the time and here's what she does: She rolls (yes, rolls) all of her clothing. This prevents any wrinkling. And, if something would need pressed off, your hotel will most likely will have an ironing board and iron provided in the room (it's usually hanging in the closet). Let me tell you, you'll be pleasantly surprised at how much you can pack when you roll your clothes. Good luck!
And as for flying ... I've only flown once and that was 20 years ago. I was a little nervous too but honestly, it was awesome!

Good afternoon Jess ... Ok, now we're gonna have to remove the radio from your house ...lol. I glad to hear that your tears are of pride and joy and not lonesomeness. You'll be with your recruit very soon and I know you'll be a happy girl ;-)

Well I hope I get to meet you in person ...maybe at the Meet -N-Greet. I'm not quite sure how that works or how it's set up but I'll find out. I'm not sure if it's seperated by divisions or ships ... oh I don't know. Whatever I find out, I will surely post for everyone. Well I'm off to bed ... it's 2:30am here in Pittsburgh. I could stay up all night on this site ...lol. Have a good night - talk to you tomorrow ;-)
