MV-Boone ... I hope you find it because it is VERYhelpful. It's written by JessicaB-Sailor Mom and she actually tells us where to sit. What to bring, what to wear, etc.etc. If you do not see it above, let me know and I'll copy the document itself and send it personally to you via email

MV-Boone ... It's not a link that I can copy/paste but I'm gonna try anyway. Here it is:
WHAT TO BRING TO PIR.doc
If you're unable to open it, you can find it right on this page. Look above where it says "Discussion Forum" and it's called "What To Bring To Pir".

Actually Jess, in my last comment, I mentioned the Grad-N-Go have to go to their Aschool following graduation for approx 5 hours . . . I found this listed at http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/pdfs/FamilyGuide.pdg

Denise, can you send the document for us all to see? Sounds very helpful!

Jess... Several days ago, someone (can't remember who) sent me a typed out document called "what to Bring To PIR" and it was SO informative. Here is some of the things listed ...
~No overnight Liberty is authorized
~Liberty expires at 9pm on Fri. and Sat. and then 8pm on Sunday
~If they are a Grad-n-Go, they will go to their ASchool following graduation and will remain there for approximately 5 hours. They will then be granted Liberty until 9pm.

Jess ... I agree with tdc801, your son will know. Boy, that would be GREAT if they get Liberty for the whole weekend. My son is also on Ship7 Div205 and he is scheduled to go to ASchool in Great Lakes (across the street from Base). I hope my son calls sometime soon because I have so many questions. I will definately ask him this in my letters and hope that he answers me soon. Geez, we only have 3 weeks!
