Clandy26 The rooms we got have 2 queen beds and a small living area and they were 98.00 a night. I've heard alot of things some not so good about the other hotels this one my friend the travel agent said are usually good she likes them so we decided to spend a little extra. I have a friend whos son's PIR was in April they stayed at the Ramada and said absolutly do not stay there and then I have heard good things about it. Just have to take your chances I guess!

well "special" meaning anything. I'm sure just getting a great BIG hug from you will mean the world to him. Just know and seeing that you are close :)

I'm waiting until after his birthday to send a card. I want to give some of his friends back home a chance to say happy birthday, and I think it'd be nicer to send a card that was technically signed by a lot of people to show him he's not forgotten. I hope we can do something PIR weekend to celebrate his birthday, his family will be there so I doubt we'll get alone time, but I really don't care for THAT right now, I just want to hug him again. I told him before he left that we would celebrate when we could.. I just hope it's not months from now...

redpanda, did you send him a card? You'll just have to tell him you'll celebrate it when you are together again. My hubby's gonna miss our 4th anniversary. We just have to make the next time we see them "special" :)

Paula, how much did you pay for your room and did you have to pay upfront or were they going to charge you when you check in?

10 lbs is quite a bit but with the amount of "IT" they are doing its kind of understanable. they are going to be nice and fit. I think the trip is going to be me. My husband wants some alone time and be able to kind of relax. He's goign to be in San Diego so I can take the kids to go see him once he gets over there. I just cant' wait. A month to go!

Jamie explained a little bit about getting the flags today. Kind of neat. I know he had three fillings done but that was all. I can't get over the fact that he's lost 10 pounds - I know mostly water, right. We're in the home stretch now. We have our hotel, but will drive up. I keep pulling airfare, but it's just too much right now. We should be able to see him three weeks after graudation also since we'll be up there for a wedding!

Go Dogs, with your info, my info and ethans mom and fiances info we will know alot about our loved ones. Andy said that even though they had alot of work to do they were starting to learn to work as a team. Andy did get his wisdom out and had quite a few fillings. Andy's carrying a flag in the ceramony. I'm so proud of him. He sounded very upbeat on the phone and today I also received a couple letters. Totally unexpected but because he was down from the wisdom teeth he had some free time to write. He said there DEP was hard on them(because thats there job) but they seemed alright. LOTS of tears today just because I miss him dearly, Im kinda exhausted. Fingers crossed the kids go to bed on time tonight. I can't wait till June 4th!!!! Hopefully getting my plane ticket tomorrow!!!!
