Hi Everyone, My son is on on ship 7 div 201. I have received the box, a form letter and a personal letter. He seemed OK so far. Does anyone have any info on how that division is doing?

welcome to all the newcomers! wow this group more than doubled in one day, that is awesome!! hope everyone had a great day today. 45 days and counting!!!! if you are choosing to fly to PIR you might want to check in to package deals. the research i've done so far seems to show that the packages are alot cheaper, when you combine hotel and airfare. i think we have decided to drive the looong 14 hours. i think the hubby is afraid to fly, of course he is to manly to admit it. i just wanna get there, dont care how! and can i just say how absolutly proud i am of the GIRLS whose moms are in this group...girl POWER!!! hope everyone has a peaceful night!

$220 is cheaper then over $300 for us. I gotta figure out a way to do it! If you don't mind me asking, what are their last names? I'm going to write my husband a letter tonight and maybe he'll know them. I'm very excited to get to see my hubby and ten days closer to graduation then I thought, makes me ecstatic!

I am very excited about PIR. They don't tell parents how hard it is on are end. I am so proud of her. She is doing something with her life at a young age. I am so proud to say she is my daughter. We have got one letter so far she is in good spirits. She was in ROTC in high school for 3yrs. So she had an idea of what she was in for. She is probably one of the youngest recruits there.

I can't wait to drop the first of many letters in the mail. Thank you for suggesting I send stamps in the letters. I to thought about them writing letters yesterday and I sure hope that is the case. I can not wait for the first letter from him.

Ethan is graduation June 4th - I am so excited. I have been on the phone all night finding us a room and airline tickets. I found airfare from DFW to Milwaukee for 160.00 per person. He is in ship 7 Div 206. His note at the bottom says "Wow this is not what I expected we didn't sleep the first 46 hours from when we woke up on Tuesday to last night anyway. I love it but miss everyone so much" I knew he would have an issue with the lack of sleep.

My son is also in Ship 7 Div 206! My husband checked Delta and they are right at $220 per person (we have four of us going - ouch!). We're originally from Chicago and may just take our time and drive up from Atlanta. We have a wedding three weeks after graduation that we're flying up for since that date is more or less in stone! We may actually be able to see our son twice in the month of June if he's given liberty during A school for the wedding.
