Let's help those who are coming to PIR by themselves find each other so that no one is traveling alone from the airport to Great Lakes.

The Meet and Greet was so nice. We had to leave a little early since the 3 year old was not cooperating!! I'd have to say the Ramada did a really nice job. Now on to graduation....

Hi All ... just left the Meet-n-Greet ... it was wonderful! To those who I had the pleasure of meeting, it was great to finally say hello in person. I just got back to my hotel and I'm off to bed. I am so tired and we have a wonderful day planned for tomorrow.
And by the way, I am happy to say that I received my "I'm a Sailor" call. Zack called around 5:00pm (Illinois time) and boy did he sound SO tired (but happy). He couldn't believe that we were only 4 miles away from the base.

See you all tomorrow . . . have a wonderful time with your Sailors!!!!

Don't worry Denise. I didn't get my call until just before 7pm Great Lakes' time. They have lots to do before they can call. And then of course they have to wait on the others to get off the phone before they can.
I've been in Libertyville all night, and I'm starting to go crazy. Can't. Contain. Excitement. It has been way too long since I've seen my husband, and I can't wait.

Hi everyone ... We flew in this morning ... arrived around 11am. Just checked in to our hotel and everyone (except me) is taking a nap. I am planning to attend the Meet-N-Greet tonight at the Ramada ... hope to see some of you there.

Clandy ... So sorry to hear about your baby girl getting sick ... bad timing huh?

It's now 4:28 in Great Lakes and I still haven't gotten a call from my son. His BS was last night and I thought for sure I'd get a call today. He told me last week to make sure I kept my cell phone glued to me. It has not left my site and I even kept it on during our flight. Ugh ... why didn't he call ... and why am I worried?
