Let's help those who are coming to PIR by themselves find each other so that no one is traveling alone from the airport to Great Lakes.

OK. Good luck to all the recruits who are completing BS tonight and safe trips to all. I am going to bed, we are leaving at 2:30am. See you there!

Sobe - No I didn't find any shoes but I really don't need them anyway.

Izaac's mom- yes I have a knack for receiving calls in awkward places. My future son in law caught me in Kohls shopping when he called to ask my permission for him to marry my daughter. I cry very easily these days.

PAULITA, so good to hear from you. Wow, do you have a Navy family or what?!

Thanks for info crimedog!

My candle will be lighted in about 25 minutes. Thank goodness this is the last night, my candle isn't as tall as it used to be! Good luck everyone - we know they will do great tonight!

My daughter in Ship 7, Div 203, did say in her call that she already received her photo packet....the yearbook and DVD of graduation she ordered will be mailed to our house. Can't wait to see those and thanks to all of you for your congratulations for those who completed Battlestations today. Good luck to those still having Battlestations.

Congrats to newyearsbaby - and her Sailor too! I cut and pasted the Honors list from the Navy's site, so they must of misspelt it - but who cares, right? Wow - this means you'll be sitting in the "special" section, how sweet! Drive carefully, get some rest tonight so you can arrive refreshed tomorrow!

Oh thanks for posting that. I just arrived in my hotel at Nashville. My fiance is Luis in 205. His name is spelled wrong but yay. I can't wait for Friday.

redwheat - so happy for you! Isn't it crazy that we can be in the oddest places when an important call comes in. Might be awkward, but got to love cell phones. Its the only number my son used these last several weeks. Not that there were a lot of calls, but at least I knew he would find me. Usually :-(
I'm assuming the pizza party is for all of them; but I'm not sure. those with BS stations tonight may not feel much up for it, but its not like they get to hit the rack early just because they stayed up for 30+ hours.
You're wearing a dress huh? Capris for me probably. I've so gotten out of the dress mode. I love them, they are so comfortable, but I never think to shop for them.
Gray? in the hair? If it weren't for gray, what would there be??
I guess we won't find out till after PIR when & where they are leaving from. Am hoping O'Hare cause it is closer.

Congrats redwheat! I am re-living it through all of you! I bet it hits you later though, so cry away, they are tears of joy. Did you ever find any shoes??

JGoody - nope, no hair cuts for me, but I need one - however my gal couldn't squeeze me in. So there's a little gray showing too! I am wearing a black jacket dress with white cord around the rim. The dress underneath is sleeveless, so if it's humid, I can take the jacket off. If our boys are flying out of the same airport, Izaac can sit with us if you need to leave. I've already adopted him in spirit.

They get a pizza party tomorrow night?? For all the divisions? Sweet!

We got the "sailor" call too. He called his fiance and she called me. I was in the middle of the Shoe Department and really kept it together without crying.. I will check his account to see if he bought pictures too. Thanks and Congratulations to all the new sailors.
